Football season is right around the corner and when most people think of football Sundays and tailgating they think of beer. There are some pretty party drinks for the ladies and some hard core whiskey and brandy drinks for the guys. Each drink is designed to represent the city, mascot, or colors of your favorite team. Below are a few some samples of team drinks.

 

Philadelphia Eagles:


The Eagle
  • 1 ½ oz. gin
  • ¾ oz. crème de violette
  • 1 oz. lemon          
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 egg white

Preparation:
  • Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake well
  • Strain into a wine glass

Detroit Lions:


The Lions Paw
  • 1 oz. Southern Comfort liqueur
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1 oz. raspberry wine

Preparation:
  • Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until well blended. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of fruit.

Baileys Spiced Cake Martini

Mixing up this drink is literally a piece of cake. This drink is Hip to Sip and make your party extra scrumptious.

Ingredients
 
  • 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream with a hint of Hazelnut Flavor
  • .5 oz. Smirnoff Spiced Cake Vodka
  • Nutmeg Powder

Directions;
  Combine Baileys, Vodka, and ice in a shaker and shake up
Strain into a martini glass and sprinkle with nutmeg

Baileys Mudslide

As it turns out you can really have your cake and drink it too with this old favorite. Serve this creamy drink during cocktail hour or as a sweet after dinner indulgence.

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream with a Hint of Coffee Flavor
  • .5 oz. Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka
  • .5 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Ice

Directions;
Mix Baileys, Vodka, Godiva, and Ice in a blender until frothy
Swirl chocolate syrup around glass before pouring.
